Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Opsly is a product of NEXT EDGE LABS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12408102, registered office London SE23 2PS.
We play two roles, and which one applies decides who you should ask. For your own account, billing and support data we are the controller, and this notice covers it. For everything your business records IN Opsly, such as your staff and your guests, you are the controller and we hold it on your instruction.
So if you are an employee or a guest of a business that uses Opsly and you want to see, correct or delete your data, ask that business first. They control it and can act on it directly. We cannot act on their data without their instruction.
Our company-wide Privacy Policy covers every Next Edge Labs product and has the full detail on sub-processors, international transfers and retention.
1. Overview
Opsly (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides digital tools that help hospitality businesses stay compliant, organised, and productive. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect:
- Account data: name, email address, business name, and password.
- Usage data: activity within the app, device type, browser, and IP address.
- Support data: messages or attachments you send to our support team.
We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our services.
- Communicate updates, security notices, and support messages.
- Diagnose issues, analyse trends, and enhance user experience.
- Comply with legal and accounting requirements.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on:
- Performance of a contract (your account and subscription).
- Legitimate interest (analytics, fraud prevention).
- Consent (marketing emails, if you opt in).
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on trusted cloud infrastructure providers. We use encryption in transit and at rest, restricted admin access, and continuous monitoring.
If we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we’ll notify you promptly in line with applicable law.
6. Sharing Information
We may share limited data with service providers who help us run Opsly (for example, hosting, email delivery, analytics). Each acts under strict data-processing terms.
If Opsly is ever acquired or merges with another business, we’ll ensure your rights remain protected and notify you before any transfer.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access or request a copy of your data.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent (for marketing, etc.).
Contact us at hello@nextedge.dev to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within one month, we will not charge you, and we will not ask why.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only where the law requires it: account and billing records for seven years, because tax and company law require us to keep them, and support conversations for three years. Anything your business recorded in Opsly is kept for as long as your agreement runs and is then deleted or returned in line with it.
9. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can adjust your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of Opsly may not function properly.
10. Contact
If you have questions or complaints about this policy, email hello@nextedge.dev, or write to NEXT EDGE LABS LTD, London SE23 2PS, United Kingdom. To close your account and have your data deleted, email the same address and we will do it.
Please tell us first if something has gone wrong, so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office.
